These were intended to be used in the hospitality industry, but I never could get their attention.
Along with them being very labor intensive and not being able to get the price down, they didn't get very far.
There's a lot more engineering here than meets the eye. I had to find LED's that are small enough
to fit in the 1/8" channel cut for the acrylic, bright enough to do the job, and the correct viewing angle.
I also had to make enough room in the base to get enough batteries in there to give decent battery life.
The second row of pictures show some other items that worked on the same priciple... and met the same fate.
