Picked up a really nice Mo-Mo steering wheel for my autocross car.
It's so nice, it's probably worth more than the rest of the car.
I decided to build an adapter to go between the steering wheel and the quick release for two reasons.
First, the quick release had a different bolt pattern than the steering wheel
and I didn't want to drill any more holes in a overpriced Italian steering wheel than it already had.
Second, the original wheel had a bit of a 'dish' to it. The middle was sunken in some,
the new wheel is flat. I didn't want to scrape my knuckles on the tachometer.
A chunk of aluminum and some time on the mill took care of it.
