Found myself in need of an oscilloscope for another project. Would have liked a Tektronix,
but they still command top dollar. Found this HP on ebay. Supposedly came from a "working
environment". Right. Someone had been digging in it and broke a wire off the horizontal deflection.
Repaired the wire, cleaned up some other nasty repairs, and hit all the switches with Deoxit.
Too bad the guy selling it didn't know enough to turn the beam intensity down
before it damaged the CRT. But it's still a good little scope.
