I built a few acrylic cake stands, but I wasn't happy with the glue joints.
So I covered them up with aluminum angle that I gave a brushed finish to on the belt sander.
Second picture shows the stand by itself. The 'X' in the middle is a center support.
I didn't especially enjoy making these, and I couldn't sell them for enough to pay for my time,
so I don't make them anymore.
